Sounds like a great event. Thanks for reporting it. We don't hear enough about the good things ballplayers are doing in their communities.
Saw your comment on MLBlogosphere about an "invisible" counter. Any advice on where to get one and how to install it?
Thanks!

Thanks Jeff. Most people assume a grouch like Beckett wouldn't give back. He's probably a very nice guy who's very intense on the mound.
As for the counter, go to statcounter.com and set up an account. Once you get the code for your counter, you can choose to keep it visible on your site or invisible. I prefer invisible just because it's less clutter on the site.
Enter the code into your "description" box of your blog and you're good to go.

I'm hoping for a last-minute invite, but not counting on it. I really wouldn't mind bowling against Beckett, but I'd hate to beat him. He doesn't like losing you know...
