Update
Sorry about the lack of posting over the last week. We're in overdrive at work and I was in NY for the weekend. Yes, there was some minor crowing on my part, but like any smart Sox fan, I used caution when gloating to my family about their team, particularly while the Mets were busy taking 2-out-of-3 from the Bombers.
Last night's game was awful. Wakefield's knuckler was not working well, and Wang, who was not at his best, still had more than enough to hold the Red Sox offense at bay. Gotta respect a starter who has a rare night of control problems, but only surrenders one run.
As of this post, it's the bottom of the first in Game 2. Mussina looks bad tonight, with a particularly slow fastball (mid-80s). Manny blasts a 3-run shot into left field. Now it's up to Crazy Julian Tavarez to hold off the Yankees offense. No easy task, but CJT has been very effective lately. Fingers crossed. Update to follow.

Okay. The Sox swept Texas for the first time since the Nixon administration. Your fans want a new post!!!
