Daisuke Loses, Fans Don't Mind
Observations from Fenway Park following Daisuke Matsuzaka's first start in Boston:
1. Some casual fans still can't pronounce his name. Say Dice-K, not Die-Sooky, you fools.
2. Matsuzaka is no Pedro Martinez. But he could still be a Number One starter. Time will tell.
3. The fans love him!
6. Everyone was so focused on watching Matsuzaka pitch that one fan--in the sixth inning--said (about "King" Felix Hernandez), "Hey, this guy's got a no-hitter going."
7. Fans like Wally, but they love the Sausage King--extra peppers and onions, please!

I don't know, that Sausage King looks kinda creepy. Looks like that monster out of the movie Dogma--what was its name???

To clarify, that's the Red Sox mascot (Wally the Green Monster) sitting next to the lady who's eating her sausage with gusto.
The Sausage King (not pictured) sells the sausage at a nearby stand.

Oh, and me? I was just looking at those onions and peppers. And Curt today (Sat.), because the weather will go downhill starting mid-day Sunday.......thanks for the email, Steve, and I look forward to seeing my link up there in the rarified zone of your link list.
Go Curt, and then....then, it might be Toronto time. Two words....GO SOX.
